In an effort to support younger cyclists, Cyclehoop have installed cycle parking for the students at several schools including most recently Belmont School and Oxgang School. As with many of Cyclehoop’s designs and installations, the cycle parking blended into the surroundings and/or matched the existing colour schemes of the schools. Cyclehoop were recently selected as one of four teams to address the joint Design Council and Home Office ‘Residential Bicycle Theft Challenge’. The teams were given just four weeks to generate innovative solutions and produce working prototypes to tackle residential bike theft opportunities.
