How should I lock my bike to the Cyclehoop?
Use a D-lock or chain to lock the frame and wheel to the Cyclehoop. Use a second lock or cable to secure the other wheel. For added security, secure the seat with a cable or take it with you. Make sure the bicycle is locked tight and secure.
What type of lock should I use?
All standard locks can be used on the Cyclehoop.
How many bicycles can be locked to the Cyclehoop?
Two bicycles.
How secure is it?
Cyclehoops can be permanently attached to street furniture with shear nuts. However, there is always a risk of theft and it is reduced by the quality of your locking method. Follow our locking tips to reduce the risk of theft.
What types of street furniture can the Cyclehoop retrofit?
Cyclehoop currently fits street signposts but can be adapted to fit other street furniture. Please contact us for more information.
How do I install a Cyclehoop?
Installation can be done by a single person using the tools provided. The installation height should be 35cm from the pavement to the bottom of the Cyclehoop.
