Cyclehoop’s Olympic Spring Bike Ride!
Come and join the Cyclehoop team for a fun packed, traffic-free ride around east London, including complimentary refreshments & food!
The ride will start at 11:00 am Sunday, 15th of April where we’ll be taking a scenic spin from Look Mum No Hands Café, along canals, past Broadway Market, across Victoria & Millenium Park, over Mile’s End Green Bridge and the grand Olympic Stadium where we will stop for a short break to catch our breath, enjoy a fantastic view of the Olympic and Paralympic Park and attend a short Olympic talk by cycling and walking programme advisor for the Olympic Delivery Authority, Peter Treadgold at the Olympic View Tube.
After our little break, we will ride past the Flower Market in Columbia Road and finish by 16:30 pm with a slice of cake at Cyclodelic! Couldn’t ask for better!
The pace will be social with mechanical assistance available in case of breakdowns.
The route is approximately 20km and will be away from roads using parks, tow paths and the Greenway.
Programme Outline:
11:00 am- Start at Look Mum No Hands
13:00 pm – 14:00 pm- Break at Olympic View Tube
15:30 pm- Arrive at Cyclodelic
16:30 pm- The End!
