Cycle journeys made on London’s major roads has increased by 117 per cent since 2000 and is predicted to increase by 400 per cent by 2025 (compared to 2000) which would equate to 5 % of all journeys in London. However a lack of secure bike parking is one of main reasons that many staff do not cycle to work.

Cycle parking audits for local authorities
As part of our services we now carry out site surveys to help local authorities identify suitable street furniture for retrofitting as well as carry out an audit of all your existing cycle parking stands.
We would:
- Survey every street within the agreed target zone
- Identify existing cycle parking provision
- Identify suitable street furniture for retrofitting into cycle parking
- Photograph and map each location which can be displayed on Google maps (click here for an example http://bit.ly/aw02Ld )
- List all the locations on a spreadsheet graded on suitability and local demand
The report provides a good understanding of the existing parking provision and the potential increase that can be achieved through retrofitting existing furniture. Locations suitable for traditional cycle parking will also be recommended.
Once locations are agreed we can deliver and install at the same time and the result is both cost effective and quick.
Temporary cycle parking for events
We can supply temporary cycle parking for events. We provide a full service from design, supply and installation of the cycle stands. We can supply a product to suit your need including:

Installation services
Our team of installers can deliver our products to your site and can carry out installation and maintenance services for all our products.
Theft reduction campaign
Our products are designed to reduce the risk of bicycle theft based and are based on the research and studies carried out by BikeOff and Design against Crime. We recently designed a series of tags as part of an anti-theft campaign to ‘grade’ the security of locked bicycles in order to promote better locking by cyclists.
The following tips should be observed when locking your bicycle:
- Buy a decent lock with ‘Sold Secure’ ratings.
- Use more than one lock to secure the frame and both wheels.
- Check what you are locking to is secure and immovable.
- Secure any items that use quick releases such as wheels or saddles.
